How it works
Method & assumptions
Remaining goal = goal amount minus current savings, never below zero.
Periods needed = remaining goal ÷ contribution per period, rounded up to the next whole period.
The target date counts forward from today using your chosen frequency. Interest is not included, so the estimate is conservative.
